The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting process is not unaffected by PFAS. Recently, the Environmental Protection Agency issued guidance to states on how to include PFAS in permits. This presentation will provide attendees with a working knowledge of the types of permits, the permitting process, effluent limitation guidelines, and how recent interim guidance and regulatory actions impact stormwater and wastewater NPDES permitting.
