**FULL TITLE: Lessons Learned from Post-9/11 World Trade Center and Lower Manhattan Transportation Planning and Design.**

*Please Note: Registrants will receive a reminder email with a link to join the Webinar approximately two (2) hours before the start time..*

The events of 9/11 devastated critical Lower Manhattan transportation systems. In the early planning and rebuilding of the World Trade Center site, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's in-house planning and architectural leadership established a master plan framework which considered its impact far into the future. After 25 years of design and implementation, this vision has proven to be a catalyst for urban development and serves as a benchmark for how to serve the public good.

This webinar will outline the Port's role in engaging effectively with multiple stakeholder organizations and the public, including the use of state-of-the-art graphics and signage, as well as temporary and permanent solutions for post-disaster response. The presenter will discuss in detail the interplay between building and district planning at the municipal level and demonstrate how municipal planning supports economic development.
