Full Title: USACE Galveston District Portfolio Briefing and Discussion of Integrating More Collaborative Delivery Methodology
We are honored to welcome Col. Rhett Blackmon, District Commander for the USACE Galveston District. Col. Blackmon will be briefing the COI and interested parties on the Galveston District Civil Works Portfolio from both a design and construction perspective. Particular focus will be on collaborative delivery methodology and ways the district is looking to increase efficiency in their delivery capabilities through a collaborative approach to and additional Industry/Government Engagement. Col. Blackmon will highlight projects that have utilized early contractor involvement (IDAC) and how this process may be utilized by the district moving forward. Additional topics of discussion will focus on the ways industry can best support the District in meeting their baseline mission functions as their infrastructure portfolio continues to expand and evolve.
